The Air Jordan 4 OG “White Cement” Releases Tomorrow

Jordan Brand’s goals in 2025 were clear: get the true hobbyists, sneakerheads, and historians (the community that made Jordan Brand what it is) back on their side by releasing the time-honored originals. Not even halfway through the year, we’ve already seen the Air Jordan 1 ’85 “Bred”, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat”, and Air Jordan 12 “Melo” return, but all of those may pale in comparison to what’s about to go down on May 24th with the release of the Jordan 4 “White Cement”.

Where To Buy The White Cement 4s

The highly popular release is set to launch on SNKRS and Jordan retailers globally for a whopping $225, an MSRP that is typically reserved for limited edition collaborations. Full Family Sizes in Adult ($225), GS ($160), PS ($100), and TD ($85) are expected to launch. Find them in our Cement 4s Where To Buy store list guide right below.

A Brief History Of The White Cement Jordan 4

A brief history of the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement”; the shoes originally launched in 1989 and was worn by Michael Jordan during the latter half of that season. It’s cultural relevance was a result of Nike’s ad campaigns around the product that included Spike Lee’s Mars Blackmon, the recurring fictional character in his films that took place in Brooklyn in the 1980s. The White Cement 4s made an appearance, cautioning the public about scuffing brand new sneakers.

The Air Jordan 4 didn’t see a retro release until 1999; this re-issue was one of the most sought after shoes throughout the 2000s until Jordan Brand chose to bring the shoes back in 2012. While MJ fanatics were happy to see them return, that specific release is regarded as the worst of its series for its inaccurate shape, flimsy materials, and the lack of Nike Air branding on the heel.

Just four years later, Jordan Brand released the shoes again as part of its Remastered program dedicated to getting Retros as 1-to-1 to the originals as possible. It featured Nike Air, a more accurate shade of grey, and even a shoebox that mimicked the ’89 packaging. Now in 2025, Jordan Brand is ready to retell the story one more time.
